DUTCH

THE United States, a country with so many Dutch fingerprints that one could fill an entire book about it. A country where 90 percent of all cows are genetically Dutch.

Licorice, stroopwafels, kroketten, oliebollen mix, beer from Heineken, Amstel or Grolsch, hagelslag, gestampte muisjes, Ketel gin, gevulde koeken, frikandellen, bitterballen, pepernoten, beschuit – everything can be found in America.

Milk, cream, buttermilk, yogurt, cheese. Everything. But how on earth is it possible that no one here can buy a bottle or pack of regular VLA anywhere, repeat: anywhere at all?
