THE most popular robot is not some assembly belt arm in a factory or a pill dispenser in a hospital, but he lives in children’s rooms. The robot is called Moxie, is 14-inch tall and has entire conversations with children from five to 10. Kids love it.

In Indiana, they now serve a new brand of beer for young women only. It tastes like lemon and ginger, and it comes out of a slim can specially designed using AI, artificial intelligence. AI figured out that women under 35 prefer to hold a slender can. Gee, wouldn’t have come up with that.

And in Charlotte, North Carolina the new aviation museum is called the Sully Museum. Oh, wait a minute, this has nothing to do with AI or robots. Its official name is the Sullenberger Aviation Museum. Named for the pilot who 15 years ago landed a plane safely on the Hudson River near New York. Sully was 58 then, now 73.

In November, America will elect a new president. Who is the best to lead the country towards the year 2030? One of those two old men, or a young puss in boots fully versed in the world of robots, AI, drones, electric and self-driving cars, but who also knows exactly how to avoid disaster?

I brought a city bus to a stop by first jumping under it, then out from under it. Everyone survived. Look me in the eye. Can you picture those two graybeards doing that? At least my orange hair is real. VanderBus for president! Or Moxie, if you must.
