Marieke ter Keurs from Weerselo, Twente, is a multiple US gold medal winning Gouda cheese making champion. She’s frequently on the road on behalf of her company Marieke Gouda (click for website) to market her variety of cheeses.
In January, on her way from her hometown of Thorpe, WI to Thailand, she attended a trade show in Las Vegas. There she made people try a novelty: foenegreek Gouda on a piece of stroopwafel, with a dollop of whipped cream on top.
Result: a resounding success.
